The climate is mostly arid, with very hot summers, mild winters, and minimal rainfall. Inland areas are dry and hot, desert valleys have warm days and cool nights, and coastal regions are humid.
Arrive in Riyadh and check into your hotel. Begin your exploration with a full-day Riyadh city tour accompanied by an English-speaking guide. Visit the National Museum of Saudi Arabia to learn about the country’s history and culture, and stop by the King Abdulaziz Historical Center. Explore the Masmak Fort, a 19th-century fortress that played a key role in Saudi history. Take a stroll through the Riyadh souks and markets, such as Souq Al Zal, to experience traditional shopping and local crafts. End the day with a drive along Kingdom Centre Tower, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city.
