Hampi is located in Vijaynagara district of Karnataka on the bank of the Tungabhadra River. It is famous for its rocky hills, huge granite boulders, and dry plains. The river makes the nearby land fertile for agriculture. Hampi has a tropical dry climate. Summers are very hot, monsoon bring moderate rainfall, and winters are cool and pleasant. The best time to visit Hampi is from October to February
Upon arrival in Hampi, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After some time to relax and freshen up, you will begin your sightseeing tour of the magnificent ruins of Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit the iconic Virupaksha Temple, known for its towering gopuram and rich history. Later, explore the beautifully carved Vittala Temple, famous for its stone chariot and musical pillars. You will also see the majestic Lotus Mahal and the impressive Elephant Stables. In the evening, enjoy the scenic sunset view from Hemakuta Hill before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
